Deconstruction

Jacques Derrida founded deconstruction and considers it to be “rules for reading, interpreting and writing”. It involves looking for contradictions and demonstrates how the norms of a text fail. It is the most significant type of poststructuralism and has changed the way Western civilization perceives the world. Starting in the 17^th century, it has challenged principles that have created basic beliefs about truth and meaning when Descartes used the scientific method in philosophy. In the 19^th century, the idea that the world could be discovered through sensory experience was challenged in certain fields. Nietzsche questioned the existence of objective truth and denied that reality is static, unified and absolute but instead relativistic, dynamic and open. In 1905, Einstein wrote a paper which challenged the concept of absolute time and replaced it with time being relative to motion. There was a fundamental shift in the 19^th century in the way which we view ourselves and the world. This led to questions in the 20^th century which asked if everything is relative. Phenomenological critics believe meaning resides not in physical objects but in the significance given to an object by human consciousness. They emphasize the reader in making the literature and believe there is no single reading of a text. Instead, there are many interpretations of a text because each individual perceives it differently depending on their past experiences. These critics applied Nietzsche’s previous declaration to language and literature.

Diario de un creador de secretos por un autor anónimo es un cuento sobre un mundo futurístico donde todo es conocimiento público y el personaje principal, Gastón, los secretos. Este cuento es un sátiro de vigilancia que subraya las desventajas de un futuro controlado por el gobierno y el tecnológico. Las problemas con esto mundo son evidente de las oposiciones binarias de oscuro vs luz, público vs privado y seguridad vs emociones. Nada hacemos es privada pero como cambiamos la sociedad. Gastón puede crea secretos por la sociedad pero él no puede encontrar amor.
